About the Event List+ Widget

With the Event List+ widget, users have the ability to display a list of events anywhere within their community with visual components. This widget can be configured to look at a specific application or group to display events and supports the configuration of the visual icon components.

Setup and Configuration

Add the Widget

The Event List+ widget requires one place in Verint to set up:

Add a new widget to the page 

• Navigate to the group, space or project

• Click on the pencil icon ()> Manage group theme > edit this page

• Search for the Event List by Social Edge Widget 

• Hold down the mouse on the widget name and drag it out onto the page where you want to display it 

Configuring the Widget 

Before You Start 

Now that you are in the configuration panel of the Event List+ Widget you need to navigate to the configuration of the widget. To do so navigate to the widget you want (edit the page) and click on the cog in the corner of the widget. 

Configuration 

• Widget Title - Please enter a widget title if you would like one to be displayed at the top of the widget.

• Calendar Colors - Please enter hexadecimal values for each associated element. You have the ability to add your main graphic (by uploading an image) in addition to setting the arrow colors using a HEX value. You can find colors here: Color Picker

• View Type - Select if you would like the view type to be all events sitewide (events), just your events (my events) or if you would like it to sync with a calendar on the same page (this is usually done when this widget is on the same page as a calendar widget). 

• Months to Show - Please enter a number to indicate how many months in the future you would like the events list to look to find events to display. 

• Events to Show - Please enter a number to indicate how many events you would like to be shown in your list. 

• Select Group/ Calendars to Pull Content From - Please search for and select specific groups or calendars to display events for. 

Please Note: There is a known issue with Verint that if you select the current calendar no events will display. Please select the specific calendar application within your group. 

Publish The Page

Within the widget configuration, press save  

 Navigate back to the side menu (where the pencil icon is) and click Publish
