How to Configure the Profile Completeness Widget

About the Profile Completeness Widget 



With the profile completeness widget, you can visually display how much of the profile a user has completed with a circle in addition to a percentage. You can easily navigate to the portions of your profile you do not have complete and get right to editing while these changes are saved in real-time. Not only can you see how much of your profile is complete but it shows your connections as well.

Setup and Configuration

  1. Add the Widget

The Profile Completeness Widget requires one place in Verint to set up:

Add a new widget to the page 

  • Navigate to the group, space or project (typically your profile page)

  • Click on the pencil icon ()> Manage site theme > edit this page 

  • Search for the Profile Completion by Social Edge

  • Hold down the mouse on the widget name and drag it out onto the page where you want to display it 

 

NOTE: SInce profile pages are part of the site theme, when you place the profile completeness widget on your own profile page it will appear in that same location on every other user’s profile page in the community. 

 

  1. Configuring the Profile Completeness Widget 

Before You Start 


Now that you are in the configuration panel of the Profile Completeness Widget you need to navigate to the configuration of the widget. To do so navigate to the widget you want (edit the page) and click on the cog in the corner of the widget.

Fields

Profile Field Search - Search for a profile field for a user to complete (please note you add one at a time)

Total Percentage - The total percentage out of 100 for completing this profile field task

Once you set a profile field and associated percentage click add 

Avatar Title & Percentage - A profile field for uploading an avatar to your profile as well as the percentage out of 100 associated for doing so.

Biography Title & Percentage - A profile field for completing your biography as well as the percentage out of 100 associated for doing so (in example above it is called biography).


**PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROFILE FIELDS MOST TOTAL 100% BEFORE YOU CAN SAVE THE WIDGET**

Badge Search - This is where you will search for a preset badge within your community to award to users when their profile is complete.



  1. Colors 



  1. Progress Circle - This will be the color of the circle that is around your profile avatar.

  2. Profile Field Bullet - This will be the color of the bullets next to each item on the list of items needed to complete your profile.

  3. Button - This will be the color of your button at the bottom of the widget as well as the list of items to complete for your profile.

  4. Button Hover - This will be the color of your button when a mouse hovers over it.

  1. Fonts





You can either inherit font from the theme (specifically for your title) or choose your own font and font sizing as well as font padding (which is done for the rest of the fields).



  1. Title - This will be the font for the widget tit;e; in the example below it is for profile completion.

  2. Description - This will be the font if you choose to have anything displayed below your title. 

  3. Percent - This will be the font of the percentage that is displayed within the widget .

  4. Field - This is the font of the fields that are listed and need to be completed 

  5. Button - This will be the font of the button where it says complete profile.



 



Publish the Page

  1. Navigate to the widget configuration

  2. Press save all



  1.  Navigate back to the side menu (where the pencil icon is) and click Publish
