Are your users tired of getting notifications every time there is a small edit to a wiki? With the Wiki Edit Page+ you now have the ability to turn these notifications off. A new widget that is very simple to configure and allows for an easy, one-click way to turn off these notifications for users.

Add the Widget
The Wiki Edit Page+ requires one place in Verint to set up:
Add a new widget to the page
Navigate to the group, space or project
Click on the pencil icon () > Manage group theme > edit this page
First ensure to remove “wiki - edit page” from page
Search for the widget “Wiki - Edit Page Plus by Social Edge” from the list, click on it and drag it onto the page
Configuring the Widget
When you are editing the page, find the “Wiki - edit plus by social edge” and click on the cog (gear)
Towards the bottom of that configuration window there is a check box for “Skip notifications for minor edits”
Note, all users see this checkbox while editing a wiki. If someone marks the checkbox, no one is notified about editing the wiki. Even a user subscribed to notifications will not receive any notifications
Publish the Page
Navigate to the widget configuration
Press save
Navigate back to the side menu (where the pencil icon is) and click Publish
