Key Features:

Sort the group list using filters
Add the Tile
The Group List+ requires one place in Verint to set up:
Add a new widget to the page
Navigate to the group, space or project
Click on the pencil icon ()> Manage group theme > edit this page
Search for the Group List by SE Widget
Hold down the mouse on the widget names (Private and Public Groups) and drag it them onto the page where you want to display it
While configuring the widget, DO NOT click off the white popup box or you will lose your configurations and will need to click the gear to edit and start again. |
Now that you have the widgets placed on the page you will need to navigate to the configuration of the widget. To do so navigate to the widget you want (edit the page) and click on the cog in the corner of the widget.
Choose a title for your widget and type it in under the widget title. This is fully customizable and you can call the widget whatever you would like. Pictured below is the widget with the widget title displaying and how to get it to display.
How to Display Group Name
Click on the pencil icon in the top left of the screen → click Manage site theme → click edit this page
Navigate to the configuration panel of the widget and click on the format icon → click top border and header
There are three options for types of groups to be displayed within the widget.
Current Contextual Group’s Subgroups
Current Contextual User’s Groups
Accessing User’s Groups
NOTE: We recommend that to display a list of all of the public groups to use Accessing User’s Groups
There are two view types to choose from: list and thumbnail. Pictured below are those two view types.
List | Thumbnail |
There are two different options that can be used to sort the list: Alphabetical and by Last Updated Date.
Lists of groups can further be sorted by the sort order which includes ascending and descending. For example, if alphabetical was chosen for the sort by and ascending was chosen for the sort order it would be sorted from a→ z.
Choose how any groups do display within the widget. For list view the recommended amount is 10 whereas for thumbnail its suggested to have any multiple of 4 as it fills in and aligns in the widget.
If you choose to only show 5 groups (items) then there will be arrows to page over to the next set of groups (items). An example is pictured below:
