About the Filtered Content List Widget

Display filtered and sorted content, people or groups from anywhere in the community. Great thing is, this list is dynamic! The list updates automatically when content comes and goes! This widget is similar to SuperList Tile on the Jive platform which is similar to their current implementation.

Heading 1 - First Section

  1. Add your instructions: Now that you added the tile, it will be automatically in edit mode. 

    • To access the tile’s configuration panel for editing in the future, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the tile.

  2. You are now ready to configure the tile.

HEADING 1 - second section

  1. To display the tile’s configuration panel, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the tile.

  2. You are now ready to configure the appearance of the tile, Select Sections in the configuration panel and click on New Section.  

    • Note:  You must configure some aspect of the Tile's appearance and save your work before adding it to a page.

Captions for the image

  • Enter text for the Section title. This text is the large headline for a section or band of the accordion. For example, Employee Forms or Discounts.

  • Select either a Preset or Custom icon. This icon will display with the Section title. 

    • Type a descriptive term to choose the Preset icon you would like to use. For example, form or Facebook. You can learn more about Preset icons by clicking on the Icon guide below the drop down menu. 

    • You will also see a preview of the icon chosen 

    • If you are using a Custom icon enter the URL for the custom icon’s image (see section 1.4 above).

    • Next, add Section items to display links under each accordion section or band.

    Add the Filtered Content List Widget to a Site or Group Page

    1. Navigate to the relevant group or application where you want the Ask/Search Widget to appear.

    2. Select the Pencil icon at the top left.

    3. Select Manage Group Theme.

    4. Select Edit this Page

    5. From the Widgets menu, search for the Filtered Content List Widget and add it to the page by dragging and dropping the widget onto the page.

    Configure the Filtered Content List Widget

    1. Click the Gear

    Publish the Page

    1. Click the Publish Button in the Management Console Panel

    2. In the Management Console Panel, click the X to close the Panel

    3. Your page will appear published with your updates
