Tagged Content List

Add the Tagged Content List

  1. Navigate to the relevant group or application where you want the Tagged Content List Widget to appear.

  2. Select the Pencil icon at the top left.

  5. From the Widgets menu, search for the Tag Content List widget and add it to the page by dragging and dropping the widget onto the page.

Are you looking to display content icons (e.g. PDF, PowerPoint, Video, etc) instead of user avatars in a Tagged Content widget? With Tagged Content Plus, you can now display the content type icon instead of the author's user avatar. This is a great solution when you want to display content item icons instead of the authors avatar, especially if the same user is posting lots of content, as it makes for a nicer UI and streamlined UI experience.

Setup and Configuration

  1. Add the Tile

The Tagged Content List requires one place in Verint to set up:

Add a new widget to the page 

  • Navigate to the group, space or project

  • Click on the pencil icon ()> Manage group theme > edit this page

  • Search for the Tagged Content List

  • Hold down the mouse on the widget name and drag it out onto the page where you want to display it

Configuring the Tagged Content List 

Note

While configuring the widget, DO NOT click off the white popup box or you will lose your configurations and will need to click the gear to edit and start again.

  1. Select the Gear in the right corner on the widget bar of the widget to edit the widget

  2. CONTINUE….

Publish the Page

  • Click the Publish Button in the Management Console Panel to publish your changes

  • Click the X in the Management Console Panel, to close the Panel

    • Your page will appear published with your updates

    Before You Start 


    Now that you are in the configuration panel of the Tagged Content List Widget you need to navigate to the configuration of the widget. To do so navigate to the widget you want (edit the page) and click on the cog in the corner of the widget.

    Widget Title 

    Choose a title for your widget and type it in under the widget title. This is fully customizable and you can call the widget whatever you would like. Pictured below is the widget with the widget title displaying and how to get it to display.

    How to Display Group Name 

    • Click on the pencil icon in the top left of the screen → click Manage site theme → click edit this page 

    • Navigate to the configuration panel of the widget and click on the format icon → click top border and header

    Number of Items to Display 

    Choose how any groups do display within the widget. For list view the recommended amount is 10 whereas for thumbnail its suggested to have any multiple of 4 as it fills in and aligns in the widget. 

    Source & Tags

    There are two different types of tags to choose as source tags: user defined tags and contextual tags. 

    User Defined Tags: These are tags that are defined by users on content 

    Contextual Tags: These are tags that are tags that are on the content already

    If you choose user-defined tags as the source you want to click the checkbox below that is labeled match ANY of these tags. Then from there there is a text box labeled tags where you can enter multiple tags separated by commas. This will pull in specific user-defined tags that you have just defined within the tags textbox.

    Groups and Content to Search 

    Choose either to pull content from more than one application (group option) or choose a specific type of content to pull from site wide using the drop down menu.

    If you choose group from the drop down menu you have a chance to clarify which types of content you would like to search for tags. You can also search in subgroups for content with tags by clicking the check box for Include content in selected group’s sub-groups. Then underneath the check boxes is where you enter the group that you would like to search.

    Publish the Page

    1. Navigate to the advanced settings within the widget configuration 

    2. Enter a title under widget title

    3. Press save all

    1.  Navigate back to the side menu (where the pencil icon is) and click Publish
